During my course work and employment period I have been tasked with assignments, practical tasks where I had to make presentations and come up with analyzed decisions from a given work, all of which they required I work with teams and some of them as a team leader and learn a new set of skills that I did not have before.

In addition to my Educational skills, I have participated in sales and marketing of various products in Safaricom limited as a Business development representative for dealer shop in various places and also Insurance products where I was able to grow both my writing and presentation skills and also planning skills that were result and performance oriented that will come in handy in this position.

April 2020 to Date 2022 - Business development manager, Mkulima Mdogo Wealth.

Main duties:

 

1. Analyzing customer payments patterns and history.

2. Performance report writings and data explanation to the board.

3. Identifying market gap, needs and trend, market information and market changes. 

4. Product development advisory to the board.

5. Preparing statutory accounts for the company.

6. Discovering new markets, segments and areas for the company growth and diversification.

7. Liaising with customers for product review, development and any other information concerning their accounts.

8. Budgeting and cost analysis for the company.

9. Creation and establishment of SME groups, women groups, chamas and merry-go rounds.

10. Loan appraisals and bookkeeping auditing.

 

 

 

April 2022 to September 2022- Githunguri constituency 2022 elections monitor

 

  1. Verify Political Party membership at the County during provisional and full registration and ensure the party has the required number of members at each county.
  2. Monitor the compliance of Political Parties with the Political Parties Act, the Code of Conduct, and other relevant statutes.
  3. Maintain updated records of political parties such as party membership lists, party officials, as well as verified party officials.
  4. Carry out capacity building for Political Parties and disseminate relevant information to Political Parties.
  5. Create public awareness on functions of Political Parties and their democratic rights.
  6. Represent ORPP during elections and other relevant events at the county level.

 

 

 

March 2017 to April 2021, - Customer Experience Executive, Safaricom Limited

 

Main duties: 

  1. Solving of customer problems and issues relating to Safaricom services.
  2. Providing a one stop total solution to every customer through cross/up selling of all Safaricom products to customer.
  3. Giving high quality retail customer service in all interactions with customers that meets individual &Net Promoter Score target.
  4. Updating customer records accurately on systems and databases and ensuring that they meet KYC procedures
  5. Following up of all orders generated and any customer issues arising.
