In February 2022, I was engaged by the College of Human Resource Management (CHRM) to train their Client, K-UNITY SACCO Managers in Kiambu Town, Nairobi, Kenya on CREATING & SUSTAINING RESPONSIBLE PROCUREMENT & DISPOSAL CULTURE AT K-UNITY. This training was based on Public Procurement & Disposal Act 2015 Laws & Principles. I am in the process of developing a Policy Document for K-UNITY SACCO based on the Procurement Act & enhance their Best Practices in Procurement & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Experience
-Worked at Tullow Oil (K) as Yard Manager / Materials Controller for close to 3 years. I was in charge of procurement, receiving, inspection, warehousing, inventory control management, stock count (stock taking), stock picking & selection, packaging, labelling & loading onto convoy trucks, raising convoy documents & disseminating regular reports to management for decision making.
-Worked at SAROVA GROUP OF HOTELS as Purchasing & Stores Supervisor. Was in charge of procurement, liaising with suppliers, receiving, storage, housekeeping of stores, issuing, inventory control, stock taking & reconciliation, monitoring, reporting & disposal of dead stock & making of regular reports to management.
-Worked at Trattoria Group of Restaurants as Storekeeper in charge of Procurement, Inventory control, raining orders & working with head of departments & suppliers, receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control & management, monthly stock taking & reconciliation, stores housekeeping, implementation of FIFO, FEFO & LIFO. Submitted reports to management for decision making.

- Degree in Business Administration at UNICAF UNIVERSITY, 4 - Year degree program - in progress
- Diploma in Procurement & Supply offered by Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS, UK)
- Certificate in Computer Software Applications by Central Institute of Training (Windows, Word, Excel, Database, PowerPoint, Access & Internet)
- Marketing by Institute of Commercial Management (ICM, UK)
- Diploma in Curriculum Development by Kenya Technical Trainers College (KTTC)
