    Summary

    Reporting to the CEO, this role will coordinate the financial and administrative functions of the organization ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.

    This will include financial planning, budgeting, as well as office management.
    Roles and duties

    Develop and manage the organization's financial policies, procedures, and related internal controls;
    Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic budgets;
    Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of periodic and ad hoc management reports and financial statements;
    Monitor cash flow, investment activities, and financial performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial resources;
    Manage the preparation for internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes;
    Actively monitor changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance including timely remittance of all applicable statutory deductions;
    Assist in planning organisational events, ensuring efficiency in logistics and availability of necessary resources;
    Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure accurate and timely retrieval of documents; and
    Coordinate general office administrative activities ensuring staff have required resources as and when required.

    Minimum Qualifications and Key Competencies

    Bachelor's degree in commerce, business management, or a related field;
    Minimum five (5) years relevant work experience;
    Possession of professional finance and accounting qualifications such as CPA, CISI, CFA or FA; iv. Proven experience in finance, accounting, and administration roles within the financial services industry;
    Attention to detail and strong organisational skills in all aspects of work;
    Sound judgment and integrity, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards;
    Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders;
    Strong analytical skills to analyse complex data and derive meaningful insights; and
    Strong work ethic consistently delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines with dedication and diligence.
