    Opticom designs and deploys integrated security solutions using a combination of the latest future-proof technologies and drawing on our 25 years combined experience in Kenya and the United Kingdom in security, to deliver a comprehensive protection management service
    Main Duties & Responsibilities

    Design and estimate Fire Fighting & Alarm Systems as well as work with sales team to create technical solutions on the same.

    Work on both maintained and non-maintained fire alarm systems.
    Servicing of Fire Alarm Systems and provision of new equipment where required.
    Attend to emergency reactive call outs in line with the customer's contract.

    Ability to survey new and remedial projects in accordance with the EN54 code to ensure compliance with legal parameters in place ,supply and fit as required, fire safety related signage and other fire safety related equipment.

    Installation of fire safety system works and projects as required.
    Ensure adherence to the operational and customer KPIs and SLAs.

    Ensure high standards are maintained in respect of technical compliance to standards, health and safety and pay particular attention to statutory compliance across all building services in buildings/ services provided.

    Adopt high standards in the completion of their work. Ensure adherence to the "Safety Culture" within the daily working routine with all parts of the Fire division.

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent focused on fire protection engineering or a closely related field
    Sufficient fire prevention knowledge and skills.
    5 years proven experience in the fire security solutions.
    Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, solid presentation skills and closing techniques
    Experience in building client relationships.
    Successful delivery of objectives.
    Excellent organisation skills Capable of coaching, Mentoring and training.
    Ability to cope with normal work pressures, Strong communication skills and excellent inter-personal skills.
    Willingness to take ownership and accountability.
    A customer-oriented attitude.
    Problem-solving aptitude.
    Leadership through influence and effective conflict resolution.
    Should have a good track record and of unquestionable integrity
    Able to work as part of a team and build relationships with others
