SummaryBiovision Africa Trust (BvAT) seeks to recruit competent and highly motivated individuals as interns in the Outreach Project.
As part of the internship assignment, the intern will be required to plan and undertake a variety of duties to support the Farmer Communication Programme (FCP) information pathways – The Organic Farmer Magazine, The Organic Farmer Radio Programme, Infonet-Biovision platform, Digitalization project and Outreach services.
The intern is expected to contribute to the promotion and adoption of Sustainable Agro-ecological practices and technologies to smallholder farmers through the respective Farmer Resource Centre's.
(FRCs).The purpose of the internship
BvAT provides a limited opportunity to students and unemployed graduates to acquire the relevant skills and knowledge in order to enhance their capacity for future employability and / or fulfil their professional obligations.
The intern will report to the Outreach Manager or his designate.BvAT/Intern/Infonet/003
Recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences such as Agriculture, Ecology, Biology, Environmental Sciences or related fields.
Should not be employed or undergoing internship/ attachment elsewhere.Available and willing to commithis/her time for a 6-month duration from the effective date of the internship.
