    Description

    BASIC FUNCTION

    This position is responsible for assisting the Group Head of Human Capital in developing and implementing data driven strategies and initiatives. The job holder is responsible for leveraging on HR data, systems, and analytics skills to assist the Company and its related entities in optimizing resources while minimizing costs.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    HR Data, Analytics & Reporting


    • Maintaining employee data administration to ensure completeness and correctness of data with the Company records and HR system.


    • Defining and driving framework for people analytics factoring in current and emerging workforce issues within the company and external factors.


    • Leveraging technology to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance data-driven decision-making through HR analytics.


    • Utilizing HR data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities, and translate these insights into clear and concise reports for leadership.


    • Ensuring handling of sensitive data is as per the Data Protection Act and company data protection policy.


    • In charge of ensuring the company medical scheme is appropriately administered within the organization, including but not limited to additions, removal of employees, changes to existing staff schemes in line with any changes in job cadres, comparative analysis etc.


    • Assisting the Group Head of Human Capital in:


    • preparing various country specific reports for both management and Board of directors


    • Developing country specific budgets and updating recruitment plans periodically.

    HR System(s) and Process Optimization


    • Manage HR system functionality to ensure the data within the system and the relevant outputs are correct.


    • Assist the Company as and when required to review the appropriateness of the HR systems and functionality and propose improvements.


    • Developing, maintaining and administering comprehensive and user-friendly HR processes, including performance management, shift management and accurate timekeeping systems, to reflect best practices and ensure compliance.


    • Providing ongoing training and support to HR staff and managers on various HR systems and processes.


    • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers as may be relevant.

    HR Document Management


    • Developing and maintaining standardized templates for all HR documents (e.g., offer letters, employee handbooks, termination notices) in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws.


    • Regularly reviewing and updating HR documents to reflect changes in Company policies and procedure, local, national, and international regulations.


    • Maintaining a centralized (Digital and Manual) and easily accessible repository for all HR documents, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.


    • Implementing a secure and organized system for storing electronic and physical HR documents in compliance with data privacy regulations regarding employee information.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE


    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


    • 3+ years of experience in human resource


    • Proficiency in HR information systems (HRIS)


    • Strong understanding of HR data analysis principles and methodologies


    • Knowledge of labour laws and regulations including data protection regulations


    • Membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.
