    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and closing strategic business opportunities. The individual will work closely and report to the Director of BD Kenya, to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and build strong relationships with key partners and clients.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.Proven experience (5+ years) in B2B business development, sales, or related roles within the financial services or technology sector.Strong understanding of financial wellness, fintech trends, and the broader financial services industry.Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships and deals.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive informed business decisions.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Willingness to travel as needed.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Identify and evaluate new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals and objectives.Develop and execute a business development plan to target potential clients and partners across multiple sectors in Kenya.Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, employers, employees and other industry players.Lead the negotiation and closing of deals, contracts, and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms for the company.Ensure there is a clear process and execution of lead management and pipeline opportunities.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.Actively engage in sharing product feedback with Tech team and managementMonitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
