- Maintain sustainable growth in accounts of an active clientele base through communication and sales of products and services to enable the branch to perform to its expectations
- Offer excellent customer service through daily conversations, correspondence, and site visits as needed to maintain strong positive relationships with borrowers.
- Conduct due diligence on prospective borrowers, including site visits and loan document preparation.
- Maintenance and growth of a healthy credit portfolio through prudent loan administration, management, and compliance with policies, procedures and best practice.
- Monitor the performance of loans and recommend remedial measures in consultation with the Credit Manager.
- Preparation and presentation of comprehensive, timely & reliable reports to provide information, aid in decision making and gauge performance of both the officer and the branch.
- Preparation and maintenance of records and valuables by ensuring that all the documents are filed and kept in a systematic manner for easier tracking & retrieval.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:- A relevant diploma or University degree
- Prior experience in a lending environment.
- Able to meet set targets within the time frame.
- Very strong attention to detail and good follow-through.
- Unrelenting perseverance, personal integrity, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
