ABOUT THE COMPANY

The Universities Fund was established under section 53 of the Universities Act, 2012 for financing Universities in Kenya. The Fund is managed by a Board of Trustees known as the Universities Funding Board (UFB) which has been in operation since 2016. The function of the Trustees is to generally manage the Universities Fund. The specific functions of the Trustees are to: advise the Cabinet Secretary in matters of University Education Financing; develop a fair and transparent criterion for allocation of funds to Universities.

JOB SUMMARY

For appointment to this Grade an officer must haveMust have served in the grade of Assistant Director Human Resource & Administration Officer, Grade UF 4 for a minimum period of three (3) years or its equivalent Relevant Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Commerce, Business Administration; or relevant Bachelor's degree in Humanities or Business-related field or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.Relevant Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Commerce, Business Administration; or relevant Master's degree in Humanities or Business-related field or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.Post graduate diploma in Human Resource HRM or CHRP Certification;Be a registered Member of the Institute of Human Resource Management and be in good standing.Have Valid Human Resource Practising Certificate;Leadership Course lasting not less than (4) weeks from a recognized institution.Have demonstrated professional competence and administrative capability as reflected in work performance and results:
