    JOB SUMMARY

    About youBachelor's degree in commerce – Accounting option.Qualified Professional Accounts (ACCA, CPA, CA).Minimum 5 years of experience.Knowledge of an ERP system.Project management (From a finance perspective).Track record of strong P&L understanding.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).Well organized individual and results oriented.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    This is a support position to the DHL Supply Chain Kenya Finance in providing Financial, Audit and Tax leadership for the country. Responsible for the countries Financial Accounting Ledger Reporting and Reconciliations. Adherence to tax laws, Ledger reconciliation and preparation of tax returns. Responsible for Tax Administration, these includes payments.Support the Finance Manager with Internal Controls.Adherence to group financial reporting guidelines.Training the finance team on group financial reporting. Working Capital Management, External & internal audit co-ordination.Drive compliance awareness in country.Ensure Compliance with all Local statutory accounting rules and regulations, Group Accounting policies and procedures and other Compliance driven policies and procedures.East Africa Treasury Management, Bank reconciliations, Co-ordinating with SSC on timely Billing, allocation of collections and timely payments of suppliers and cashflow management.Responsible for Country Balance sheet reconciliations as per Group guidelines, IFRS and Local GAAP.Tax Management for Kenya.Custodian of Finance SOPs, ensure regular revision to adopt to current operating environment. You may be required to undertake other duties as necessitated by business needs that may not be part of the responsibilities outlined in this role profile.
