Description
The Agricultural Employers Association (A.E.A) is a voluntary member based farmer organization registered in 1966 under the Trade Unions Act Cap 233 of the Laws of Kenya as an Association representing the collective interests of employers in the Agricultural Industry in matters connected with employment of labour.
SUMMARY
The successful candidate will head the engineering department, overseeing management of new projects, technical improvements, and routine maintenance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Make project budgets and annual capital.
Maintenance of budgets.
Make and implement maintenance plans.
Ability to understand projects through concepts, designs, legal and other approvals,
Procurement of materials and outsourcing of relevant contractors.
Represent the company in technical meetings both internally and externally.
Report to the top management as may be required.
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder must possess:
Degree in mechanical engineering.
Knowledge/experience in project management, electrical engineering will be an added advantage.
Over 10 years of working experience
Demonstrable experience in managing technical teams and contractors.
Demonstrable people management skills.
The preferred candidate should be open minded and hands on.
