RESPONSIBILITIES

Thoroughly clean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, surgical areas, and other spaces according to hospital protocols. Use disinfectants and other cleaning solutions according to manufacturer instructions and hospital policies. Perform deep cleaning of rooms between patient stays and as needed to maintain a sterile environment and an updated checklist.Dispose of trash and medical waste according to hospital policies and health regulations as well as observe IPC policy. Handle hazardous materials safely, using protective gear and following proper protocols. Restock supplies such as hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and personal protective equipment in designated areas. Assist in setting up and cleaning up rooms for patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. Ensure that cleaning and maintenance materials are available and stored properly. Implement infection control practices as prescribed by hospital guidelines and training. Ensure maintaince of the scrubbing machine by adhering to user guidelines. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
