    Tharaka Nithi County is one of the forty seven (47) counties in Kenya. It borders the Counties of Embu to the South and South West, Meru to the North and North East, Kirinyiga and Nyeri to the West and Kitui to the East and South East
    Requirements for Appointment

    Be an employee of Tharaka Nithi
    A Bachelor's degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution.
    Has an experience of a minimum period of Three (3) years;
    Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

    Duties and Responsibilities
    The officer reports to the Director Budget and will be responsible for:

    Economic Planning;
    Coordination of Sector/ Departmental development plan;
    Preparation of Development Policy Strategies and programs;
    Carrying out statistical analysis;
    Participate in a planning and project monitoring unit; and
    Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
