    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage all accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities.

    Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.

    Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

    Ensure timely bank payments and manage payroll.

    Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (VAT filing, e-slips, etc.).

    Conduct inventory checks multiple times a week.

    Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

    Requirements:

    Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the butchery or retail sector.

    Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

    Experience with VAT filling, taxation, and e-imps systems.

    Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

    Ability to perform frequent inventory checks and visits to our butchery.

    Professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.

    Residency in or close proximity to Karen, Nairobi, for ease of commute.
