    We are a pioneering force in the micro-credit industry dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Credit Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving financial inclusion by recruiting and onboarding new groups, managing existing groups, conducting due diligence, and enhancing the financial literacy of women entrepreneurs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Onboarding:


    • Actively recruit and onboard new groups of women entrepreneurs into the microcredit program.


    • Ensure a smooth onboarding process, providing comprehensive information on available financial products.

    Group Management:


    • Manage and nurture relationships with existing women groups, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.


    • Conduct regular group meetings to address concerns, provide updates, and encourage financial empowerment.

    Due Diligence:


    • Lead the due diligence process for new group applicants, ensuring accurate assessment of creditworthiness.


    • Conduct thorough evaluations, including home visits, to verify information and assess loan security.

    Loan Security Fund/Guarantee Fund:


    • Encourage and guide women entrepreneurs to exponentially increase their loan security fund or loan guarantee fund.


    • Provide support in understanding the benefits and importance of these funds for sustained financial security.

    Training and Financial Literacy:


    • Fully train women entrepreneurs on account operations, including savings, checking balances, withdrawal procedures, and loan request processes.


    • Educate clients on other financial products available through our application and annual bookkeeping practices.

    Appraisal and Reporting:


    • Conduct group appraisals in collaboration with the Credit Control In charge to assess creditworthiness and determine loan qualifications.


    • Prepare and submit real-time reports on daily, weekly, and monthly activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


    • Proven experience as a Credit Officer focusing on financial inclusion, especially for women.


    • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, credit control, appraisal, bad debt management, due diligence, and group dynamics.


    • Excellent financial analysis skills and proficiency in relevant software tools.


    • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs, particularly for diverse audiences.


    • Knowledge of cultural and socioeconomic factors affecting women's financial empowerment.


    • Applicants must strictly be between 23-35 years old.

    Skills: In addition to the skills mentioned earlier, the successful candidate should possess:


    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


    • Ability to motivate and encourage women entrepreneurs towards financial empowerment.


    • Proficient in conducting group appraisals and collaborating with Credit Control teams.


    • Excellent reporting skills with the ability to generate real-time reports.


    • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work within diverse communities.
