    Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking to recruit qualified waiters and waitresses responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience for guests by providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Customer Service:
    Greet and seat customers courteously.
    Provide menu recommendations and offer assistance with food and beverage choices.
    Take and accurately record customer orders.
    Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly.


    Order Processing:
    Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages.
    Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the correct preparation and presentation of dishes.
    Monitor and communicate order status to customers.


    Table Maintenance:
    Set up and arrange tables to meet the restaurant's standards.
    Clear and clean tables efficiently after guests leave.
    Ensure adequate stock of tableware and condiments.


    Billing and Payment:
    Present bills and process payments accurately.
    Handle cash and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
    Provide change and receipts as needed.


    Up-selling and Promotion:
    Suggest additional items, desserts, or beverages to enhance the dining experience.
    Promote special menu items or promotions.


    Communication:
    Effectively communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations.
    Collaborate with colleagues to provide seamless service.


    Maintaining Cleanliness:
    Keep the dining area, serving stations, and restrooms clean and well-maintained.
    Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:
    Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
    Knowledge of food and beverage items.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to handle stress and work in a fast-paced environment.
    Basic math skills for handling payments.


    Education:
    A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required
