    Leather Development Assistant II CSG 13/ JG 'G' - six (6) Posts, Permanent:

    Salary Scale:
    Ksh. 23,700x 1,040 — 24,740 x 1,070- 25,810 x 1, ,900 x 1, Lt 28,010 x 1,120 -29,130x 1,150-30,280 x 1, ,450

    House Allowance :
    Kshs. 6,750 p.m.

    Commuter Allowance :
    Kshs. 4,000 p.m.

    Leave Allowance :
    Kshs. 4,000 (Once yearly)
    Leave Entitlement : 30 working days per year.

    Duties and responsibilities will involve:

    • This is the entry and training grade for the cadre.
    An officer at this level will work under guidance of a more experienced officer. Duties and responsibilities will involve; demonstrating to traders and skin flayers on the approximate methods of flaying, cleaning, curing and storage of hides and skins; ensuring that the hides and skins are delivered to the curing premises immediately after flaying; collecting hides and skins data on production, grading and defects and issuing dispatch notes to facilitate movement of hides and skins as a disease control measure.
    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have; - Bein possession of a two-year Certificate in either Hides and Skins Improvement or Leather Technology from a recognized institution; and
    Have a certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution
