    The Opportunity
    SNDBX International is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and stability of the organisation.
    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    Timely and accurately capture financial transactions in the accounting system
    Prepare management reports, and maintain accurate and organized financial records
    Accurately identify and record income generated from various sources
    Prepare annual budgets and report on actual performance against budgets every month
    Monitor expenses, enforce budgetary guidelines, and identify cost-saving opportunities
    Accurately calculate and disburse salaries and submit statutory returns
    Verify bills and reimbursement requests, process payments and perform Bank Reconciliations
    Responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable management
    Responsible for cash flow reporting and forecasting
    Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and tax regulations
    Provide audit support
    Support other departments and stakeholders of the organization.

    Required Specifications

    A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
    CPA certification
    At least 5 years experience working as an accountant in an SME setting
    Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including IFRS.
    Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
    Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
    Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
    Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on new challenges as needed.
    Positive attitude and commitment to contributing to a collaborative team environment.
