    JOB SUMMARY

    To manage and deliver the Solutions Structuring capability in the effective origination, structuring and execution of tailored Structured Trade Finance solutions for a portfolio of top tier clients across the Africa region and internationally across all sectors that optimally solves for the client's unique needs, achieves revenue targets and promotes the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) brand as the "go-to" bank for Trade Finance Solutions.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsType of Qualification: First DegreeField of Study: Business CommerceExperience RequiredProduct ManagementTransaction Banking3-4 years Interpreting, applying and complying with relevant regulatory frameworks across multiple geographical jurisdictions.7-10 years in an investment banking trade finance environment.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Actively engage with clients and foster relationships partnering with relevant stakeholders to uncover opportunities to meet unique client needs, optimise client capital and balance sheet structures and manage CIBs balance sheet exposure.Actively monitor portfolio transactions in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders to enable early identification of any issues (to the extent that CIB is appointed as agent) and ensure optimal performance of portfolio.Define and drive implementation of the Solutions Structuring Group's (SSG) strategic objectives for assigned portfolio partnering with relevant stakeholders to optimise client shareholder returns, grow TPS Trade Finance revenue and protect and grow market share.Keep abreast of new or amended applicable legislation, regulations and standards and interrogate the risk environment and best practices to understand their impact on the Trade Finance Structured Solutioning portfolio in collaboration with relevant risk and compliance partners to continuously improve controls, reporting, compliance and ensure policies, procedures, documentation and controls are aligned to effectively mitigate risk and optimise clean audit reports.Lead solution negotiations, oversee coordination of internal and external stakeholder requirements, review and approve contracting requirements and obligations, transaction and commercial terms and closing processes partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive the realisation of commercial targets, maximise shareholder returns and growth of revenue and balance sheet.Oversee and drive the execution of deals within assigned portfolio and drive engagements and processes with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solution completeness, compliance, quality and exceptional client experience.Participate in relevant market forums and establish ties with industry bodies and associations linked to Trade Finance and structured solutioning to keep market and sector knowledge relevant and, where appropriate, influence the direction of the industry and its regulatory bodies.Proactively develop, maintain and expand a network of relevant internal stakeholders to promote sufficient balance sheet, capital and risk appetite for Structured Trade Finance solutions and create a pipeline for new business.Regularly identify, evaluate and map risks and associated controls within area of responsibility in collaboration with relevant risk partners to identify gaps, establish or adjust controls where necessary (or formally accept the risk /appetite), to minimize risk and losses to the Trade Division.Review outputs of management information and interrogate performance within portfolio to facilitate adjustment of plans and tactics where necessary and ultimately achieve SSG strategies.Use specialist knowledge and expertise of Trade Finance and financial instruments across multi-geographies to structure and price solutions tailored to the specific needs of clients within the portfolio that optimally solves for the client's unique needs, complies with all relevant regulations and achieves SSG revenue targets.Utilise analytics and modelling tools to provide dashboards (visual depiction of data) to share with relevant business and governance forums to illustrate trends, provide insights, identify opportunities and inform decision-making.
