    ROLE
    The Manager, People & Culture provides comprehensive Human Resources services to managers and employees across a globally distributed workforce.

    This role reports to Luminate's Senior Manager, People & Culture.

    Successful candidates must be located in and have the right to work in either London, Nairobi, São Paulo or Washington, DC.

    OPPORTUNITY

    The Manager, People & Culture will contribute to creating a strong employee brand ensuring that our team have a positive employee experience.

    This role will actively focus on employee recruitment, onboarding and the longer term employee development strategy, process, and experience.

    The Manager, People & Culture will partner with managers to determine expectations and needs while engaging with the broader Luminate team on ways to attract, support, and retain talent.


    Partnering with a wide range of teams, the Manager, People & Culture will make a global impact across the organisation through the relationships they build both internally and externally.

    The Manager must have experience matching candidates to roles and supporting the employee's development journey throughout their tenure.

    This role works with the Senior Manager, People & Culture to innovate on traditional recruiting methods and to bring a high level of creativity to our development and training programs.


    TEAM


    The Manager, People & Culture is a key member of the People & Culture team and will work closely with the Global Support team who manage the organisation's global operations and administrative activities.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Recruitment & Onboarding

    Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process including sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates, identifying and implementing equitable and inclusive hiring practices across all geographies
    Contribute to a strong employee brand by ensuring candidates have a positive recruitment experience, and relevant, productive and welcoming onboarding experience
    Provide support to the People & Culture team and hiring managers to develop internal and external sourcing strategies and succession planning, contribute to development of annual resourcing plans

    Development & Training

    Deliver a strategic plan for development & training solutions (including skills-based training, personal development and team wide training programmes)
    Monitor and analyse learning and development solutions for a high performing organisation, ensuring that training requests are in line with the overall employee development strategy
    Support the maintenance of ongoing employee goal setting, feedback and assessment processes to ensure that employees and managers are empowered to support a learning culture

    HR Business Advisor

    Be an advisor to line managers ensuring they are informed, trained and supported to deliver on the terms and conditions of Luminate's employee experience
    Make recommendations and develop People policies and processes relevant to recruitment and onboarding practices to enable effective and efficient operating procedures, implementing and adapting to best practice policies to create a healthy and inclusive workplace

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    Several years of human resources generalist experience; talent management and/or learning & development expertise preferred
    Experience partnering with line managers
    Commitment to building relationships across all levels and have a genuine interest in employee career lifecycles
    Exceptional organisational and communication skills together with solid knowledge of employment rights and the application of those
    Proactive team player with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
    Experienced in developing and supporting line managers through change
    An ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy is critical
    Self-motivated and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
