    We provide subsidized nutritious meals to primary school children to improve nutrition education outcomes. We are a not for profit organization that works with vulnerable children in the public school system to improve their lives and school performance. Founded in 2012, Food for Education provides subsidized school meals every day to over 15,000 kids with a goal of feeding 1,000,000 kids by 2025.

    JOB SUMMARY

    As a Product Designer, you will elevate the visual identity and user interface of our products. As a pivotal member of our product development team, you will lead the creation of visually stunning and intuitive designs that captivate our users and drive engagement.Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's in business, engineering, computer science, or related field.7+ years proven track record of successful product management roles.You are creative and have a track record of creating product roadmaps from conception to launch, driving product direction, defining go-to-market strategy, and leading design discussionsExperience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision-making.Strong strategic thinking and visionary mindset.Exceptional leadership and communication skills.Deep understanding of product development processes and methodologies.Proficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.You listen to others, speak your mind, and ask the right questions.You are a great collaborator and teacher.Effective verbal and written communication skillsYou are eager to learn new skills, solve complex problems, and work closely with diverse teams.You are resourceful.You know how to do more with less, and you've worked on lean teams that have had a large impact.You are not afraid of big challenges, and you do whatever it takes to get the job done

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with organisational goals.Partner with stakeholders and users across the organisation to develop, inform , execute and maintain the product vision, strategy, road map, features, and prioritisationAssess value, develop cases, and prioritise backlog, stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy and changing requirementsIdentify market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.Lead and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance and support.Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to ensure cohesive execution..Make strategic decisions on feature development, balancing short-term and long-term goals.Engage with internal stakeholders, executives, and external partners to gather insights and align priorities.Present product strategies, progress, and plans to stakeholders across the organisation.Translate user needs and market insights into clear and detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases.Work closely with the product team to ensure requirements and designs are accurately conveyed to engineering teams.Oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring projects are executed on time and within scope.Monitor progress,identify bottlenecks, implement necessary adjustments,mitigate risks, and provide solutions to challenges as they arise.Analyse user data, feedback, and performance metrics to drive data-driven product decisions.Iterate on product features and strategies based on data insights.Ensure effective product launches that generate user excitement and adoption.
