ABOUT THE COMPANY
The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) was established after Kenya's President Mwai Kibaki signed the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Act on 29 August 2011. The EACC replaced the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC).The country's Parliament disbanded KACC on 24 August 2011, in line with the requirements for change as stipulated in the new Constitutional dispensation after the promulgation of the 2010 Constitution.The EACC was established on 5 September 2011 and Commissioners Irene Keino and Prof. Jane K. Onsongo appointed on 11 May 2012 to head the anti-graft agency.
JOB SUMMARY
Requirements for Appointment:For appointment as a Security Assistant III, a person must possess the following qualifications:Minimum relevant work experience of four (4) years in a comparable position from a reputable organization.Diploma in Security Studies or Social Sciences.Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E.) with a minimum grade of D+ or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patrolling, surveillance, and controlling traffic within Commission premises.Maintaining a security register and occurrence book of security-related issues.Ensuring that Commission staff and visitors have adequate security and safety.Detecting and reporting suspected offenders.Inspecting vehicles and personnel entering and leaving Commission premises.
