- Preventive maintenance of machines as per laid down instructions and procedures to ensure a smooth running
- Trouble shooting electrical equipment and machine failures by inspection and testing and prescribing
- corrective action and reinstating it back to its working condition.
- Logging details of work performed on data records to enable further action, planning for next service and storage as history.
- Inspection of machines operations and recording of data such as pressures, temperatures etc to ascertain smooth operation or service requirements.
- To ensure timely maintenance checks on capacitor banks, Generator, power distribution panels, factory lighting systems and emergency lights.
Maintenance Costs Management - Ensure accurate stock management of spares and consumables.
- Initiating purchase requisition for electrical machine spare parts for maintenance
- Monitor utility usage on weekly basis & control any deviation.
Safety Health and Environment (SHE) & Food Safety - Ensure timely closure of maintenance related SHE actions.
- Report all Quality ad food safety issues that maybe encountered during daily operations
- Ensure external contractors are properly inducted on safety, health and environment matters.
Skills & Experience
BSc Electrical Engineering power option or (Diploma Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering)
3 years working experience in maintenance of Industrial Machinery and equipment
A good understanding knowledge in machines trouble shooting, Condition-based and preventive
maintenance.
