We are looking for new talent to join our team

Role Purpose

To ensure system compliance (ISO,GMP,Regulatory), Weighing & dosing correct weights of premixes and other feed additives during the batching process as per the formulations while observing feed safety requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Weighing & shooting additives as per batch formulae requirement.

Initiating & supporting continual improvement efforts at the dispensing and batching station.

Promoting safety, health & environment related activities.

Identify and report all quality and food safety issues during daily operations.

Timely addition of premixes and other additives as per the set procedure while ensuring no reworks arise due to quality non-conformance.

Maintaining standard inventory of all premixes and additives.

Reduction of variability on Key Performance Indicators.

Logging details of work performed in data records to enable further action.

Coordinating rectification of all existing abnormalities (Green tags) as per the set deadlines.

PaTaMu- Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.

Maintenance of 6k and AM at Gemba and timely update of all boards.

Identify and report all quality and food safety issues during daily operations.

Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Skills & Experience

A Degree/ Diploma in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or Microbiology

At least three years experience in a Food/Feed manufacturing industry.

Knowledge in Feed Safety - ISO 22000

Knowledge in Lean manufacturing/Continual Improvement

Computer literacy.

Planning & Coordination skills
