    Description

    Overview:

    As an operations Manager, you will play a
    crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization's
    day-to-day operations. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership
    skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to oversee multiple facets of the
    business. The Operations Manager will collaborate with various departments to
    streamline processes, enhance productivity, and contribute to the overall
    success of the company.

    Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the
    organization's goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to contribute to the development
    of overall business strategies.

    Process Optimization:

  • Analyze existing processes to identify areas for improvement and
    implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to
    enhance operational performance.

    Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of operational staff, ensuring
    optimal performance and productivity.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to encourage
    teamwork and professional development.

    Resource Management:

  • Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and
    materials, to meet operational requirements.
  • Monitor and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and
    financial sustainability.

    Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure products
    or services meet established standards.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify and
    address areas of improvement.

    Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication between departments to ensure
    smooth coordination of activities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on operational
    performance, challenges, and opportunities.

    Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the
    organization's assets and reputation.

    Vendor Management:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the
    organization.

    Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of various projects to achieve
    operational objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.



    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management,
    or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • 2 to 3 years' experience.
  • Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships
    with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools.

    Salary Net: Ksh. 100,000
