    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our Nairobi Sales team in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer retention for our business. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of customer behavior, agent and dealer network management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a subscription-based business or renewable energy sector.Proven track record of driving sales growth and customer retention in a competitive market environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve targets and deliver results.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive decision-making.Experience in competitor intelligence and market analysis.Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM systems.Strategic thinker with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.Passion for sustainability and environmental conservation is a plus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives, focusing on customer growth/onboarding, customer retention, portfolio health, and loyalty.Lead Generation and Conversion: Oversee lead generation efforts and ensure efficient conversion of leads into paying customers, utilizing data-driven insights and market trends.Customer Journey Management: Manage the end-to-end customer journey, from initial lead generation to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience that maximizes retention and fosters customer loyalty.Retention and Upselling: Develop and implement strategies to maximize customer retention and drive upselling opportunities, leveraging customer data and feedback to continuously improve the customer experience.Customer Behavior Analysis: Utilize data analytics and consumer insights to understand and anticipate customer behavior, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.Sales Operations & Policy Compliance:: Streamline and optimize sales processes and operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the sales cycle, from lead management to contract negotiation and renewal.Channel Agent Development & Training: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with distribution channels, including agents, dealers, retailers, e-commerce platforms, and other relevant partners to expand market reach and drive sales.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, , product development, and customer experience, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and ensure a cohesive customer experience.Analytics: Implement and utilize robust analytics tools and metrics to track sales performance, customer engagement, and retention metrics, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and tactics.Performance Monitoring: Measure performance vs KPIs and track the effectiveness of sales initiatives, regularly analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team, setting clear goals and objectives, providing ongoing training and development, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
