    Summary

    Our Client is looking for an aggressive, performance driven Project Driver.

    The job incumbent will be responsible for driving authorized personnel to project sites and delivery and collection services as may be requested by administration team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Operate the project vehicle as assigned by supervisor.
    Maintain vehicle log-sheets in accordance with the project and company policies/regulations.
    Check the vehicle conditions after each trip/routinely – report needs and problems to logistics team.

    Adhere to all safety and communication protocols as advised by the line manager and organizations Health and Safety and Environment (HSE) policy.

    Responsible for the safekeeping of all vehicle equipment, tools, first aid kits, spares etc.
    Keep the vehicle ready, clean and on standby – ready for use always.
    Assist, as required, with logistics in the office daily workloads.
    Cooperate and be of assistance to staff and visitors
    Report all maintenance needs of the vehicle to transport management on a regular basis.
    Undertake field assignments as assigned by your line manager.

    Responsible for preparing and submitting monthly vehicle fuel and maintenance reports to the administration and operations as per the organizations fleet management policy.

    Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to the Company.

    Required Qualifications

    A minimum of KCSE level with grade D;
    Certificate of good conduct
    A minimum of three year's relevant experience with valid driving license - B,C,D,E;
    Proof of good driving record.
    Experience in logistics support is an added advantage.
    Oral and written English and Kiswahili language fluency is necessary.
    Experience operating manual 4x4 vehicles.
    Experience and thorough knowledge of Western Counties and its terrains is a desired.
    Cautious with defensive driving skills;
    Presentable with excellent interpersonal skills;
    Demonstrate confidentiality of information
    Must be initiative and have high moral integrity;
    A good team player;
    Ready to work for long hours
