Forn more information, please visit our website SummarySupporting the Business Development and Partnerships Manager, the Business Development Coordinator contributes towards driving sustainable business growth and cultivating meaningful partnerships. You will be responsible for coordinating business development efforts with Business Line Leads across energy, water, and climate change teams. Part of this task includes managing responses to calls for Expressions of Interest (EOI) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs). The Business Development Coordinator will also consistently review current market trends within these business lines across countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and advise the senior leadership on emerging opportunities and challenges.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Build long-standing and meaningful relationships with clients and implementation partners.Coordinate responses to calls for Expressions of Interest (EOI), concept notes, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)Conduct market research in energy, water, and climate change consulting to inform the Firm's business development outlook.Track the Firm's business development performance ratios and metrics to inform future initiatives.Provide inputs to contract and partnership negotiations.Maintain a database of current and future clients and partners across the countries of interest.RequirementsAt least 4 years of professional experience in business development or management consulting. Experience working with development agencies including Development Finance Institutions and international think tanks is desirable.Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business studies, engineering, environmental studies, sustainable development, or related from a reputable university.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in professional English, French, and/or Arabic is desirable.Demonstrated understanding of the business development cycle in development consulting.Experience working with online business development tools including business development aggregators.
