    SUPERVISION:
    All staff at the branch


    PURPOSE:
    The Branch Manager is responsible for day to day store operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising employees. The Branch Manager is responsible for the store profits, and all controllable expenses.


    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build, lead and empower a communicative and effective store team by delegating, coaching and directing team members towards achieving set targets.
    • Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked and replenishment throughout the day, organized, and well kept.
    • Promote and resolve customer complaints, in a timely and professional manner
    • Follow and enforce all Company Policies and Established Procedures in the store Operations
    • Execute promotions, ensure all Joint Business Plans (JBPs), advertising/signage are properly posted at the right time within the store.
    • Enforce all Safety and Security Issues and report any and all unsafe conditions.
    • Carry out branch security activities as required: coordinate opening and closing of the branch.
    • Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the supervisory team.
    • Ensure that KPIs and targets are cascaded by the supervisor to the rest of the employee.
    • Ensure that there is a clean and safe working and shopping environment.
    • Ensuring the customer care section runs smoothly and intervene where necessary;
    • Ensure appropriate planning of sales floor activities in the branch to ensure smooth operations.
    • Monitor staff performance and general attendance
    • Being the liaison between staff and management
    • Overseeing the receiving bay operations;
    • Ensuring appropriate storage of all goods at the branch;
    • Oversee neat and attractive product display

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
    Academic Qualifications

    Business Administration or related field

    Professional Qualifications

    Diploma in Management or any other relevant diploma

    Experience

    3 years' experience in branch operations / Fast Moving Consumer Goods background.

    Supervisory skills

    Computer literacy
