    Description

    The Tea Board of Kenya is a State Corporation in the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development established by Tea Act No.

    23 of 2020 to develop, regulate and promote tea sub-sector. The Board is governed by a Board of Directors) appointed by the Cabinet Secretary in charge of Agriculture and Livestock Development while day to day operations are directed by the Chief Executive Officer.

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: - Guiding and ushering clients and visitors;
    Receiving and directing VIPs/Visitors to relevant offices;
    Assisting in organizing sitting arrangement during TBK events;
    Displaying information on notice board to guide members to various meeting rooms;
    Registering, issuing and maintaining visitors passes;
    Keeping records and data of visitors;
    Receiving and directing telephone calls; and
    Collecting feedback forms from suggestion boxes weekly.

    Requirements for appointment

    Diploma in any of the following: Customer Care, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Front Office or related field from a recognized institution;
    Proficiency in computer application; and
    Meet the requirement of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.


    OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    Upon offer of employment, the successful candidates MUST satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Consitutiton of Kenya 2010 by providing copies of;

    A valid Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    A valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)
    A valid Clearance Certficate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
    A valid Clearance Certificate from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB); and,
    A valid Clearance form from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
