    Description

    On 8 December 2020, we inaugurated the Still I Rise International School in Nairobi, thanks to the support of many friends and donors.

    Our school is located in Mathare, Nairobi, an area strategically chosen to welcome the city's forgotten children.
    Summary

    This is a full-time on-site role, and you will be responsible for contributing to the development of our students' academic and personal growth.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's or Masters's degree in relevant fields with a teaching certification
    Experience teaching in an international or diverse setting and demonstrated ability to engage students in the learning process
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with diverse students, families, and colleagues
    Proven skills in using technology to enhance student learning and managing classroom activities
    Familiarity with MYP curriculum along with strong content knowledge in particular subject areas: History, Visual Art, Geography, Philosophy, Design, Mathematics, Sciences, and PHE
    Passionate about providing education to vulnerable communities
