The successful applicant will provide strategic and business planning support to the firm in the Business Development & Marketing department. The role will primarily support the components of our strategy, leading and supporting on a broad range of initiatives to help the firm develop relationships with clients; raise profile and strengthen the firm's position in the market. We are looking for a professional with strong work ethic and a genuine interest in working in this dynamic area. Reporting to the Business Development & Marketing Manager, this role is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing & BD professional to join a fast-paced and growing team. The role will suit an experienced and ambitious BD & Marketing professional looking to take the next step in their career, with a firm that can offer exposure and development opportunities.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide strategic and business planning support to the firm through the preparation and development of effective business development programmes.Acting as support lead on the development and delivery of a range of marketing and communication activities that contribute to the delivery of our strategy.Plan and implement the firm's, practice groups', and individual lawyer's business development and marketing activities.Augment the firm and lawyers' visibility and brand recognition to strengthen and expand the firm's business.Liaise with practice groups in discovering strategies to win more work through client targeting and identifying cross-selling opportunities for the firm.Research, analyse and communicate market, industry and competitive trends for the firm and practice groups.The job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time.RequirementsThe ideal candidate should :Hold a bachelor's degree (preferably in, Business, Marketing, or related field)A minimum of six (6) years relevant experience working in a professional services firmBe able to demonstrate experience in dealing with a demanding workload and conflicting prioritiesBe able to multi-task and work with deadlines, be methodical and logical, as well as thrive in a robust and fast-paced environmentHave the ability to stay calm and composed in often demanding situations.Display a consistently positive attitude and adopt a 'can do' approach as well as being able to work well on own initiative and also as part of a wider team, collaborative working styleProficiency in the use of IT systems including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointHave excellent verbal and written communication skills.
