  • Posting, reporting and auditing cash receipts of the organization.
  • Provided credit information, both internally and externally.
  • Monthly billing as well as overseeing the completion of month end billing.
  • Managed the daily accounting function and general ledger. This included all posting to the books of accounts leading to the formation of a trial balance.
  • Updated staff account balances and ensured compliance with laid down policies and procedures.
  • Prepared monthly expense analyses to support the computation of corporation tax.
  • Reconciled payroll accounts in the general ledger to the schedules received from HR on a monthly basis. 
  • Point contact between HR and Finance on accounting issues.
  • Year-end audits, preparation of month-end financial statements, cash flow statements, budgets.

  • Certified Investment & Financial Analysts, KASNEB, 2021 to present, Intermediate - Section 4.
  • Certified Public Accountant, KASNEB, 2018 to 2021, CPA-K.
  • Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Accounting Option, Kenyatta University, 2001 to 2004 - Second Class Honours.
  • Cash Management & Money Laundering, Kenya School of Monetary Studies, 2011.
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, Maseno School, 1996 to 1999 , A- (Minus)
