Sylvester Nzau

For the past 14 years Sylvester has worked in the care and humanitarian industry, He is currently supporting HIV positive and vulnerable Children’s in Nairobi informal settlements, helping them to become more independent. He has become more resilient in regards to the day to day physical and emotional experience. He has learnt to stay focused and under control in order to deliver the best level of care. Currently he is working with NYUMBANI®)-USAID: Children of God relief institute Kenya (COGRI) Lea Toto community-based Program leading the provision of clinical, psychosocial and social services to over 5,000 HIV positive children, 9,000 OVCs and 490 households.

Sylvester has a demonstrable experience and in-depth knowledge advocacy, human rights advocacy, refugee matters, humanitarian work. Sylvester has great Knowledge of the social, cultural, political, and religious environments here in Kenya and Eastern Africa., with his experience in economic & DREAMS as well proper implementation of Child protection, child safeguarding, HIV &GBV programming activities as required.
