About Samuel Njenga:

I'm a trained research scientist in the field of agriculture and genetics.  I have cultivated a career in the agricultural sector management through various positions and roles I have undertaken. I have had the honor of working as a management trainee on an organic vegetable, fruit, and herb farm. I have learned the skills of farm management and production. I have been part of various audits such as Global GAP, and KEPHIS audits.  I have also been part of various national projects such as the NARIGP (National Agriculture and Rural Inclusive Growth Project), where I have been working as an Intern, assisting in monitoring and evaluation, Farmer's Field School training, and intensive report development. In addition, I have undertaken training on aquaculture as part of the ABDP (Aquaculture Business Development Program) and later on served as a volunteer to train upcoming fish farmers.

I am passionate about developing skills to build a strong and bright career in the agriculture sector.

Graduated from JKUAT in 2022, June with a bachelor's degree in genomic science.
