Jan 2019- 11th March 2022: Assistant Credit Controller- at Jubilee Allianz General Insurance Company (Nairobi) 

Key Duties 

 Creating procedures and policies that ensure timely payments while maintaining a high level of customer retention. 

 Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors Days Sales Outstanding. 

 Participating in sales meetings to clarify the role and responsibility of credit control—especially when dealing with customers and regularly defining credit policy to reduce misunderstandings between the two departments.

  Processing of commission and refund payments. 

 Reconciliation of intermediary accounts to ensure that all premium accounts are correct and up to date

.  Visiting and calling intermediaries for follow up on collections and reconciliations to provide a weekly report. 

 Sending monthly statements and resolving incoming queries on outstanding accounts from intermediaries. 

 IPF management. Processing and recording of Insurance Premium Financing Applications. 

 Ensuring that Identification, receipting and allocation of premium payments made via (EFT, IPF, M-pesa and RTGS) is promptly done.  Accurate debtor account reconciliations for Bancassurance.  Issuing demand letters and cancellation notices f
