 I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Statistics from Kenyatta University. With 6 years experience as a finance assistant from Baraki International limited Company. With this position I was able to garner skills that I believe will be valuable to you, these skills include: proficiency in Ms Office, that is Ms excel, word, powerpoint and access, good command of English, both oral and written, preparing balance sheets, filing NHIF, NSSF, PAYE and VAT returns, processing invoices and keeping accurate records of daily financial transactions.

In my learning process, I gained knowledge which I feel will be valuable to your company. My zeal to learn and get better in my field of study and later in my professional career ensures that I go above and beyond any responsibilities that I may be assigned.

I worked as a finance assistant at Baraki International Limited Company for the past 6 years. My job responsibilities included:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Preparing balance sheets
• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions
• Processing invoices
• Recording accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Updating internal system with financial data
• Reconciling bank statements
• Assisting with budget preparations
• Updating Quickbooks with financial data
