I have doubled up in this role, leading our Analytics team focused on the internal and external client. We develop analytics products for consumption by Banks, Microfinance Institutions and financial services. We have also developed credit scoring algorithms used in application scoring in Banks as well as mobile microloans.
Internally, we are a data-driven organization and therefore the team develops analytics pipelines including reports and dashboards for use in business decisions.
We employ a variety of tools using SQL and Spark for data wrangling, to R and Python for analysis and Tableau and Metabase for data visualizations. 
The team is currently working on improved data visualizations, machine learning algorithms and finding applications for machine intelligence in lending, especially in the SME space. Drafting and delivering daily and monthly reports on the company’s financial metrics to assess success rates and account for deficiencies. Helping in data mining using using SQL and analyzing using R,SPSS and Python. Spotting tendencies in complex data sets and make conclusions about them using the analytical skills. Carrying out assessments on the expenses incurred by the company. Working with management to prioritize business and information needs.
