Experience

In my role as a Finance and Audit Department Attaché at the Youth Enterprise Development Fund, I gained hands-on experience in data entry, imprest claim processing, and cash book reconciliation. My responsibilities included preparing payment vouchers and ensuring financial documentation accuracy. Additionally, I collaborated with external auditors, the company secretary, and tax agents on various company matters, showcasing effective communication and coordination skills. At the National Hospital and Insurance Fund, I served as an Accounts Finance Department Attaché, where I conducted field marketing, managed M-pesa transactions, and audited NHIF accredited hospitals. I also facilitated the processing of hospital e-claims for payments, demonstrating proficiency in financial management and attention to detail.

Education

I pursued a Bachelor of Commerce with a Finance option at Taita Taveta University, School of Business, where I acquired a comprehensive understanding of finance and commerce. This program enhanced my analytical skills and strategic thinking, preparing me for a career in finance. Additionally, I obtained a Certified Public Accountant (Foundation level) certification from Taita Taveta University, further developing my accounting expertise. To enhance my technical skills, I completed a Certificate in Computer Applications at Hi-tech Computer Training Centre, where I gained proficiency in various computer applications crucial for data management and analysis. My educational journey began with the successful completion of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education at Lodwar Boys High School, where I laid the foundation for my academic and professional endeavors.
