Joy Kamau

I recently graduated with diploma in business management and got exposure in health facilities in form of attachment. I began at Gachororo Health Center where I was attached as an administrative assistant and got to improve my communication skills with patients and colleagues, time management, record keeping and organizational skills. After that, I got an attachment with Juja Modern Hospital where I was placed as a customer care help and gained experience as a NHIF clerk.

During my attachment at Gachororo Health Center, I got to carry out reception duties, assisting in compiling documents, overall management of clients in the facility, liaising with fellow colleagues on administrative projects, developing and putting a new process into place or when delegating tasks and ensuring the entire facility was organized. In addition to that, I got to put into practice my previous experience at Gachororo in Juja Modern Hospital with more confidence and ease as a receptionist and got to gain experience on NHIF works and claims as a NHIF clerk.

I enrolled at NIBS Technical College and did craft certificate in Business Management, passed and proceeded to diploma. I then graduated with a credit in diploma in business management in the month of October 2022 and is looking for employment as an entry-level position with any reputable facility.
