About Jill Ngaira:

I am a university graduate with a bachelor's degree in Telecommunication and Information Technology. I have both trained and self taught skills in website development, with a good grasp of HTML, CSS, Javascript, APIs, and node.js. I have experience as a network technician, and I am currently enrolled in CISCO classes. I am diligent, hardworking, collaborative, and quick to learn.

Experience

Attended web design classes in June 2019 at African Institute of Research and Development Studies and acquired a certification on completion. I am well acquainted with front-end development, and that entails, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  

 Interned at JKUAT Industrial Park from June to October in 2022, where I was involved in a wide range of activities that involved network administration, troubleshooting, telecommunications and information technology, both hardware and software.

Worked at Tech Biz Limited for three months, as a computer technician, dealing with both software and hardware properties of computers. Diagnosing and repairing broken computers.

Enrolled for and completed CCNA 1 course, ITE, hence earning a certificate. I am now well versed with computer hardware, including, routers, switches, controllers, endpoints and software such as routing protocols, networking, TCP/IP concepts and packet tracers. 

Enrolled at Africa Agility bootcamp, where I earned a certificate of completion for the backend development track. I am well versed with Javascript, node.js mongoose, mondodb, and APIs.

Worked with CRS, a non-profit organization, on data collection and analysis pertaining an application called Fundi254.

Kenyatta University 2018-2022

I have completed my fourth year of study pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication and Information Technology. I graduated with a second class honors, upper division.

Bunyore Girls’ High School February 2014-November 2017

I pursued my secondary education and successfully completed in 2017. I attained a mean grade of A- and earned my KCSE certificate.
