 During the practicum I undertook: Project management, monitoring and evaluation, occupational health and safety, solid and liquid waste management, school health, food hygiene and quality control, and data collection.
 Participated in health education programs and community events resulting in increased community awareness and engagement.
 Conducted needs assessments resulting in the identification of health education gaps and targeted programming.
 Carried out health promotion activities in Junda ward, Kisauni which involved advocacy, health education which ensured increased sanitation and reduction of diarrheal diseases.
 Participated in COVID-19 vaccination, data entry in the government COVID registration portal and submission of daily reports and tally’s.
 Carried out defaulter tracing in childhood immunization programs through coordinating of the CHVs.
 Carried disease surveillance by compilation of the monthly data and submission through IDSR

 Carried out HIV/AID patients’ defaulter tracing and the Ahero county hospital, CCC with the aid of community health volunteers and imparting knowledge on their home-based caregivers
 Participated in advocacy programs for women of reproductive age on the importance of proper intake of Ante-natal care services.
 Carried out community diagnosis in Tura location, Nyando sub-county on the impact of COVID-19 handwashing regulations on reduction of diarrheal diseases.
