About Jane Njenga:
I am a top tier executive in human capital sourcing and talent development, curricula development, national examinations management, education, certification and recognition of prior learning expert. My 20+ high profile and progressive leadership is punctuated with leading edge solutions in developing and integrating systems in leading top performing teams, policy formulation and development. My contribution in various fields and specifically the human resource professional in Kenya has been the pillar that has resulted to the realization of the Human Resource Management Professionals (HRMP) Act 2012 mandate.
I have spent my career developing leading edge solutions, enhancing unmatched commitment to moving institutions and departments from being cost centers to profit centers, enhancing excellence in human capital management, training, curriculum development, education and management of national examinations. Among the highlights of my experience include; developing, implementing and reviewing human resource and management policies, standards and procedures for the management and administration of national examinations, coordinating the recruitment, maintenance and development of test item developers, moderators, invigilators, examiners and defining their role. In addition, I have established systems of collaboration with County Directors of Education and Officers Commanding Stations across counties and over 50 accredited institutions across the country, developing accountability measures, setting targets and appraising the human capital against set targets.
In multiple instances, I have proactively engineered fresh solutions, used emerging business practices in providing high level technical expertise and oversight in developing accountability structures, promoting high level collaboration, partnership, and linkages with stakeholders, contributing to the development and evaluation of strategic plans, managing review and analysis of policies and procedures, developing and overseeing performance of staff and contracted professionals.
