About Idle Haret:

Multi-skilled and hardworking professional with over 15 years of experience having worked in different educational backgrounds as a teacher and as a humanitarian aid worker. I have worked in various positions and am currently working with Gargaar Relief and Development Organization (GREDO) as an Education program coordinator partnering CARE International. Most of our projects are Education in Emergency (EiE) USAID and EU funded. Some of the projects I coordinate include; Adolescent Girls Education in Somalia-Expanded (AGES-E), Educate Your Children (EYC) and Education Cannot Wait (ECW) which are all supported by USAID.

I also worked (part-time) with United Puntland Publishers(Somalia) in writing and developing the Secondary school's English Textbooks for forms 1,2,3 and 4 as well as revising the Puntland state's English Syllabus. I have deep experience in teaching and synchronization with the learning objectives along with proven skills in setting standardized learning objectives for each allotted group of students and strong knowledge of management and administration policies and procedures. I am also an expert in using curriculum-based measurement assessment systems, highly experienced in designing and implementing effective curriculum units, and have a strong background in utilizing collaborative learning and critical reading strategies and bringing innovative teaching techniques, research-based methodology, and ample knowledge regarding cognitive milestones in students.
