About GIDEON NGETICH:

I have a wider orientation as far as; accounting, Auditing  and finance is concern. This is evidence from my previous experiences that includes and not limited to working in difference positions as Finance manager, internal auditor, Accountant, chief finance officer and currently Senior manager internal audit at mama organization. I am a team player ,meticulous and keen to details this in fact has continuously uplift my accounting and financial skills. Additionally, I have over 8 years’ experience, CPA K as well as A member of ICPAK, Bachelors in AGBM and ongoing Masters (MBA finance option) in Kenyatta University.

NAIROBI DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

I. Carry out a full audit of the organization to ensure compliance with best practice 

II. Ensure strict compliance to directions and regulations to secure financial reliability Monitor actions taken by management in response to audit reviews, to ensure that all agreed audit actions and recommendations are implemented accurately and timely.

 III. Work closely with external or visiting auditors to support their audit process. 

IV. Ensure that audits are performed with due professional care and there are credible audit observations, conclusions and recommendations.

 V. Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data. 

VI. Act objectively by giving independent advice to ensure legality and achievement of organizational goals. VII. Maintain and improve on existing open communication with the management. 

VIII. Assist in documentation of the audit process and preparing audit findings. Prepare and present reports that clearly reflect the audit results.

 IX. Continuously develop knowledge in their profession regarding rules, regulations, best practices, techniques and performance standards.

 X. Perform Partner audits to ensure compliance with donor and Mamas’ rules and regulations. 

XI. Keep the Chief Executive Officer and Advisory Board informed on any initiative or difficulties relating to the job’s responsibilities. 

XII. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer or Advisory Board. 

APRIL  2020 PRESENT PROJECT ACCOUNTANT MEDA THROUGH MAMA FRESH COMPANY LIMITED | ELDORET, KITUI AND SAMBURU 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

I. Provide budgeting preparation and monitoring support for the projects.

 II. Ensure compliance to donor requirements, organizational financial policies and procedures.

 III. Support the Finance department in accurately phasing the annual budget on a quarterly and monthly basis based on the project work plan. 

IV.  Monitoring budget to actual expenditures, producing regular and special budget reports,

 VI. Ensure accurate and timely input of financial data to ensure sound financial reporting and management. 

MAR 2020 OCT 2021 CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER (CFO) MAMA FRESH COMPANY LIMITED | ELDORET 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

I. Overseeing the financial activities and ensuring the sales process is efficiently and effectively completed. II. Evaluating internal controls system and advising the management accordingly. 

III. Ensuring the books of accounts are kept in accordance to GAP standards

 IV. Filing monthly statutory staff deductions (NHIF, NSSF and PAYEE) and Company compliance. V. Preparing the final financial statements for the company, income statement, financial position, and cash flow statement. 

VI. Managing the accounts payables and accounts receivables and overseeing the collection of past-due accounts 

VII. Reporting to the managing partners on all financial areas 

VIII. Preserve, protect and vigorously defend the firm’s assets, business and interests

Roles and Responsibilities 

I. Ensuring that the books of accounts are kept as per (GAAP) II. 

Filing returns and ensuring the company complies with relevant laws and statutes. 

III. Preparing the final financial statements for the company, income statement, financial position, and cash flow statement

 IV. Evaluating internal controls system and advising the management accordingly. 

V. Assessing the company’s Risk and advising management on risk management strategies.

 OCT 2016 MAY 2018 FINANCE MANAGER LUMBOKA HOSPITAL | BUNGOMA 

Roles and Responsibilities 

I. Overseeing the finance at large and ensuring the smooth running of the financial activities at large. 

II. Verification of daily cash collection.

 III. Managing of company assets both current and non-current assets (FAR) and ensuring that all assets are insured. 

IV. Controlling the daily hospital expenses. V. Preparing daily, a monthly and annual statement of accounts, e.g., statement of financial position, statement of financial performance and quarterly and yearly projections 

VI. Filing and submitting the statutory staff deduction (NHIF, NSSF, and PAYEE) and other deduction, e.g., SACCO, Welfare, and Insurance.

Roles and Responsibilities

 I. Doing bank reconciliation.

 II. Preparing daily, monthly and annual report with the guidance from Finance Manager, e.g. income statement, statement of financial position, quarterly and annual projections. 

III. Making sure that the cash office runs smoothly on a daily basis. 

IV. Verification of cash collection under instruction from the finance manager. 

V. Banking and filling of cash receipt 

MAY 2016 JUN 2016 ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT MEDIHEAL HOSPITAL | ELDORET 

Roles and Responsibilities.

 I. Billing for corporate and cash clients for both IPD and OPD patients.

 II. Preparing the daily MIS report, e.g. credits sales, occupancy report, radiology, and laboratory and pharmacy report. 

III. Sending preauthorization and making claims from insurances.

 IV. Receive payments from clients through the various method, e.g., cash, M-Pesa and credit cards and posting all the payments in the system
