• Effectively communicated with suppliers to acquire and negotiate prices and alternative materials for client quotations which strengthened the companies’ relationships with the suppliers and led to saved costs for future projects.

• Discovered and communicated with at least 1 new trustworthy supplier during each project leading to an increase in options for material sourcing and saved at least 20% of time in procuring materials for future projects.
• Ensured all project procurement processes were documented and recorded in the ‘SAFIMS’ (Software system) which led to a decrease of lost information per project and saved time for future reference.
• Applied knowledge in sustainability while sourcing for materials led to an increase in use of energy-saving materials for every project and decreased pollution which saved costs for future renovation repairs.
• Consistently communicated with lead designer and construction workers before and during project preparation which saved time once projects began on the ground.

Acting chairlady of the Bingwa committee which is a new app-frame enabling users to find and request handyman repairs from around their location, assist the Head designer in any task required including plan drawing, site visits and material sample selection for client presentations.

Key achievements 

• As Bingwa committee chairlady, I collaborated with members in different departments and held 2-3 meetings weekly to ensure we were all on the same page when it came to our tasks and duties for the soft launch. This led to saved time during launch week preparation and a successful soft launch of the app which was held on the planned date without snags.

Key achievements 

• Came up with a new system format to record data while updating the facility’s material and fixture schedules which was 80% completed. This made it easier for future employees who did the same task and saved time when planning any repairs and future referencing.
