Dorothy Awuor

I am a graduate of Egerton University with bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Human Ecology Extension. I am passionate about working with small scale farmers since as they are in need of extension service. I did my attachment at United Destiny shapers where I worked under various departments such as Agriculture, Environment, youth and health. I worked together with small scale farmers providing extension services. I managed to make tea fertilizer using weeds as weeds contains all the necessary nutrients required by the plants to flourish. Have also managed to work with pawame solar as a field agent for two years, Nokia as a brand ambassador for a year and Census as an enumerator. I possess skills such as ; team player, good communication, organizational, analysis, research and problem solving skills.

Have worked with Pawame solar as a field agent collecting debts from customers by making daily calls for two years, I did my attachment at United Destiny shapers community based organisation for three months, have worked with the 9th edition africities as a volunteer which happened in Kisumu in may 2022. Have worked with Nokia and tusker cider company as a brand ambassador.

I went to st. Mary's Mukumu girls primary school where I attained 372 marks and joined The Sacred Heart Mukumu girls high school where I scored a mean grade of B+with 67 points I then joined Egerton university where I studied bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Human Ecology Extension and got a second upper class of 67 points.
