About Dennis Mbuthia:

I have been a stock accountant at a leading dairy manufacturing company for six years. I have in that time acquired critical inventory control skills especially in generating variance reports, preparing stock level reports and resolving variances that arise after stock reconciliation. I aspire to work in a manufacturing/warehousing environment where I can advance my skills and I believe this is the perfect opportunity for me to do so.

Experience

2016 – 2022: Inventory Accountant at Brookside Dairy Limited 

  • I developed and implemented inventory control policies and procedures to eliminate stock losses and to maintain optimal stock levels. 
  • Coordinated stock counts and generated a stock variance report daily. 
  • Diagnose and resolve causes of stock variances. 
  • Monitoring and verifying posting of warehouse transactions in the ERP software I.e., SYSPRO 
  • Perform daily and monthly stock reconciliations to identify variances and highlight the same to management.
