PROCESS LEAD, KINETIC TECHNOLOGY LTD

While at Kinetic Technology, I got a managerial role in which I oversee the software production processes within the company. My main task is to ensure that software is being produced on time following agile principles and internal processes that have been set within the organization. I also doubled as the team’s scrum master and software tester. This role has helped me build on my people and managerial skills apart from my technical skills.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, KINETIC TECHNOLOGY LTD

I was part of a team that developed various Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERPs). We developed membership management systems for various organizations that had the need to manage their members and membership processes like member registration, membership category upgrades, issuing of licenses or certificates, and activation of already existing members.

I also took part in the development of an ecommerce system for our clients who wanted a web application to sell some documents that they offer to their clients.

MARCH 2020 – AUGUST 2020

FREELANCE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

Developed a website for a PR agency called African Elite Group. The website is designed to represent the services they offer their clients and the works they have done for them.

I also developed an inventory system web application for a client who the need to track the products she has in her store.

JUNE 2019 – FEBRUARY 2020

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER, CODEFREMICS LIMITED

I was part of a team that developed ‘Ramsis’. An Enterprise Resource Planning System used by a company that deals with the buying and selling of Machines and Spare parts. The system was designed to help the organization manage its usual day to day activities and the management of the company with modules such as Human Resource, Payroll and keep track of its Employees and Customers details.

I contributed to the development of the finance center which included exchange rates and generating reports such as the balance sheet, trial balance and reports that showed all the transactions that occurred within the specific accounts.

The system was developed using PHP programming language using Laravel Framework for the backend and JavaScript using Vuejs framework together with bootstrap for the frontend.

JANUARY 2018 – MARCH 2018

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER INTERN, STRATHMORE UNIVERSITY

I was part of a team that created the ‘Strathmore Sports Management System’, a system used by the Strathmore Sports Department to manage their activities and ‘Macheo’, a management System used by the Community Outreach Program in Strathmore University to manage their mentoring services to Children in Kibera Slum.

These systems were developed in PHP programming language using Codeigniter Framework, AdminLTE template, Bootstrap 3 and XAMPP for database management.
