Anthony Kamau

  Anthony Kinyanjui Kamau is a passionate male trained Kenya  enrolled community health nurse with a vast experience for over 20 years in both public service and also with an International NGO providing leadership in quality HIV prevention and testing services to communities. My  twenty years working experience as a program officer has honored me skills, abilities and proficiency to be able to achieve my goals and objectives of the organizations i have worked with.

Anthony has a vast experince in implementing project founded by partners among the Centre for Disease control and prevention(CDC) and Government of Kenya (GOK)

One of my key achievements included starting the first ever psychosocial support group for officers living with AIDS to improve adherence and retention to care

1990 -2010 : Project officer lead in HIV prevention counselling and testing services

1990 - 2010: Nursing officer-IN charge Kamiti prison hospital, working closely with medical officer in-charge planning and organizing clinical and outpatient services

January 1990- 1993:Certificate of Kenya Enrolled Community Health Nurse

2018 - Trainer of Trainers in self testing

2018 - Training on sexual based violence

2008: Trainer of trainers couple counselling

2005 - Advanced Certificate in counselling supervision

2003 - Trainer of trainers for VCT counsellors

2002 - Trainer of trainer of Trainer for voluntary counselling and testing
